I love my Mom

This are two of the many notes I have left my mom around the house. I love her a lot. The first one is at the bottom of her calendar. It says "I love you mom" on the left of the picture and on the right it says "I love youMom, Noah" and "I love you Dad, Noah". The pictures are of me and my mom. We go great together. You can click on the pictures to get a closeup of my great handwriting.

My First Day of School

I had a lot of firsts this last week. On Tuesday I went to Kindergarten for the first time to meet my teacher, Ms. Moulton and to find out where I go on the first day of school. I took a picture of my teacher, then I took a picture with my teacher. She is a really nice teacher. She is really good at teaching.

On Wednesday, it was my first official day of kindergarten. My mom drove me to school. I had a really good time there. I took a tour of the school. My favorite place to see was the nurse's room, because it had air conditioning and our classroom was really HOT. We were too busy for recess this day, but it was a lot of fun. I met some new friends like Fiona, Zoe, and Adam. My friend from church, Ian, is in my class, too. We ride home together.

On Thursday, I got to ride the bus to school for the first time. It is so fun to ride the bus. No other kids are on the bus when I get on, but luckily, right after the driver picks me up, he goes up the street and picks up Ian. We sit together on the bus. At school, we first sit at our tables and play with the blocks. Then we go to afternoon meeting, where we sit together on the carpet and pass around Tbone and all say "hi" to each other. Sometimes we say "hola" instead of "hi". After our afternoon meeting we eat our snacks, then we go out on the playground for recess. If there is time, we have a quick story after recess on the carpet. We also do lots of other things that I can't remember, but it is all FUN. When it is time for me to go home, I meet mom or Ian's mom out on the blacktop and we go home. I'm glad I get to go to kindergarten. I like it a lot. When I had to draw a picture and write what I hoped to learn in kindergarten, I said I wanted to learn some good manners. Mom doesn't do such a good job of teaching me manners. I hope Ms. Moulton can teach me some good manners while I'm in her good class.

I went to Hawaii with Henry and learned to hula!!!
